We need to keep our focus on the strengths our students have. They can learn and grow when they know we value them and the strengths they bring to our classroom.
Has Mr. Buckingham been listening at our window around midterms and report card time? It is difficult as a parent to balance out the negatives with positives! I am usually better at this with my students than with my own child. I will try to do a better job this school year both at school and at home!

I believe each student in our classes has a unique combination of strengths and weaknesses. The MI theory gives us tools to help our students understand their best ways of learning.
